In the world of gaming, there are a lot of brands to choose from. In order to find the best peripherals for your needs, it is important to do some research and know what you’re looking for. This article will help you with that task.
The best gaming peripheral brands 2020 is a question that many gamers ask themselves when buying new peripherals. This list of the top 5 brands will help you make your decision.
Gaming enthusiasts don’t just use a regular DELL mouse and keyboard; they utilize the finest accessories available. And when I say peripherals, I’m referring to all of the components that are utilized for gaming, such as the mouse, keyboard, headset, mousepad, and so on. I’m not adding monitors since they’re a totally other subject, and discussing them would need a separate article.
There are so many brands that if you search for them, you won’t be able to count them all, from world-famous names to notorious ones from China or any other nation.
For the greatest gaming experience, you’ll need specialized peripherals from a reputable manufacturer that can last for years and provide excellent support. I’ve compiled a list of the top peripherals brands and stated why I believe they’re the best. This list does not imply that each individual accepts the order of the brands or the brand itself from the list as “THE BEST” in the world, but I am offering my own opinion based on my experience with them.
Because I am not an expert in everything, you may remind me or propose anything in the comments area, and you can share your thoughts on various brands based on your own experiences. I’ll continue to update the list as I try additional peripherals from other manufacturers.
Before you go any further, here are a few things to think about before purchasing a peripheral.
Corsair is ranked first.
Corsair makes the finest gaming keyboards in my opinion. They are very durable and provide a wide range of illumination, structure, and operating options. The majority of Corsair keyboards feature multimedia keys and are very hefty. You won’t get the impression that they’re employing low-cost components, and their CUE software makes tweaking features a breeze.
Although I am not a huge fan of its mice, I found the Corsair Pro M65 to be the poorest of all the mice I have tried among the best mice. Some technicians have given it prizes and titles for “Best FPS Mouse,” but in my view, it isn’t even an FPS mouse. That’s simply a regular mouse that you may use to play any other game you choose. Despite the fact that the structure is sturdy and weight modification methods are helpful, they are not found in every mouse.
Corsair VOID headphones and mouse pads are also excellent, particularly the RGB versions that are available in both fabric and hard surface. It, right now, Corsair has one of the most diverse peripheral lineups, and if you want to purchase all of your peripherals at once, you can do so from a single manufacturer and configure them all with the same software.
Corsair offers a broad range of keyboards, with mechanical keyboards ranging in price from $70 to $200. Not every keyboard is decent for its budget, but those under $100, such as the K70 Lux (Non-RGB), Strafe, and others, are excellent. In the same way, Corsair has released an RGB stand for headphones.
It doesn’t offer the widest selection of mice in the mouse category, but if you want to connect all of your peripherals to one program and to each other, you can live with the limited choices.
Logitech is number two.
Now, for some, Logitech is the best for peripherals because of its support, which I am not going into detail about because everyone’s experience is different, but in general, I have seen that people talk too highly of Logitech’s support, but I am not putting it at the top of my list because of the peripheral limitations. Because there are so few Logitech mechanical keyboards on the market, it has little competition in the keyboard industry. In this, Corsair, Razer, Cooler Master, and others handily defeated it.
However, Logitech is the most efficient and, without a doubt, one of the finest mouse manufacturers. Take a look at its Proteus G502; I don’t believe there is a finer mouse on the market. It’s ideal for any scenario and outperforms all other mice in its price range. There isn’t a single-purpose mouse that Logitech doesn’t have in its lineup; you’ll discover a variety of models from various eras, including Wireless and MMO mice. As a result, it is a full package.
Logitech is also an excellent headset manufacturer. Despite conflicting reviews, Logitech’s G930 headset is well-known, but the company also offers a variety of other headsets in various price ranges.
The mouse mat, on the other hand, lacks any innovative mats. The only area in which Logitech has a stronghold is the keyboard/mouse combination, which includes models such as the MK620. They’re designed for casual usage and are also excellent cheap gaming choices. However, Logitech’s budget and premium devices are excellent value for money.
SteelSeries is ranked third.
For competitive gaming, SteelSeries makes the finest gaming mouse. Its Rival series has spawned a number of gaming mice, including the Rival 100, which I replaced my Proteus G502 with (Personal preference). It offers several professional mice, like as the Rival 310 and Rival 700, that are suitable for a variety of budgets and have the finest grips of any mouse I’ve tried.
They also offer SteelSeries software, which is excellent. I wouldn’t call it perfect, but it gets the job done. However, in terms of keyboards, they lag well behind the competition, since their only popular keyboard series is the APEX, which is perfectly enough for anybody who wishes to use just SteelSeries peripherals.
Mousepads and headsets are two more excellent peripherals. It certainly doesn’t have an RGB mouse pad right now, but there are many various priced mouse pads of excellent quality, as well as professional headphones. The ARCTIS series are luxury gaming headphones, while the Siberia Headsets are a decent affordable choice. I myself use the Siberia 200, which is both comfy and reasonably priced.
Another excellent SteelSeries accessory is the Nimbus Controller, which costs less than $50 and has hundreds of good ratings on Amazon, making it one of the most searched keywords in the controllers category.
#4. Razer
For some, the material Razer uses for its peripherals makes it debatable if Razer is one of the finest brands for peripherals or not. Yes, the Razer peripherals’ material quality isn’t as excellent as some of the other brands I’ve listed, but they provide a totally distinct experience in their own right. For example, the Razer Deathadder Elite is a top-tier FPS gaming mouse, and I don’t believe any other brand, apart from SteelSeries, can match it in terms of competitive gaming mice.
In terms of keyboards, it offers several good mechanical keyboards that can compete with Corsair. The Black Widow Chroma V2, a fantastic keyboard from Razer, is one of the most popular keyboards on the market. When it comes to mouse mats, there are both standard and RGB mouse mats available. Razer headsets are also good, but not exceptional. Razer’s Kraken 7.1 is a popular and extensively marketed headset. The brand has branched out into every ancillary area and succeeded well. However, I would want to see them use higher-quality materials in their components in order to outperform their rivals.
Cooler Master is #5.
I placed Cooler Master last since it’s a nice middle ground between an excellent and a cheap peripherals brand. It neither delivers the greatest nor the worse peripherals. However, since the brand is well-known and has excellent support, you will get greater assistance than with cheaper ones.
It doesn’t have a very good mouse, with the exception of the MasterMouse PRO L, which is named after their keyboards. It’s not a very good mouse, and Cooler Master has only recently dipped its toe into the world of peripherals after a successful run as a component manufacturer. It still needs to progress beyond its current condition.
Cooler Master’s mechanical keyboards, on the other hand, are well worth the money. On this site, one of my pals evaluated the Cooler Master MasterKeys PRO L keyboard and rated it highly as a gaming/productivity keyboard. Cooler Master’s keyboard/mouse combinations are the most popular peripherals. The Cooler Master MasterKeys PRO L is a fantastic example of this.
It hasn’t done a fantastic job with headsets and mouse pads, therefore I suggest Steelseries, Razer, or Corsair for headsets and mouse pads.
What Do the Numbers Say?
It’s impossible to say which peripheral from which manufacturer is the most popular globally, but we can get some insight into which peripherals are the most popular by looking at the Best Sellers category.
If we ignore the commonly used inexpensive mice like the Redragon M601 and others, the most popular gaming mice are the Razer Deathadder Elite, Corsair M65 Pro, Razer Naga Hex V2, and SteelSeries Sensei 310. Corsair K70 LUX RGB, Corsair Strafe RGB, Razer Black widow Chroma V2 and Logitech G810 are among the keyboards available.
Check out the following comparison: Corsair K70 versus Logitech G810.
The most popular headsets are the HyperX Cloud II, SteelSeries Arctis 5 RGB, and Corsair VOID Pro RGB, while the most popular mouse pads are SteelSeries, Corsair, and Razer.
