While the majority of H410 motherboards provide minimal functionality, the MSI H410M Pro is a work of art for just $70. The board features five power phases with doublers, which is excellent for voltage stability, but because you won’t be overclocking, this feature won’t be as essential. The ASRock H410M/AC is a promising motherboard that I also mentioned in my list of the top LGA 1200 motherboards. It has a strong 7-phase VRM as well as compatibility for the majority of the components. Like the MSI H410M Pro, it features a single M.2 slot for NVME SSD and an M.2 slot for Wifi card, but the difference is that it comes with an integrated wifi adapter that lets you access to the internet immediately after installing your OS.
The board, however, lacks Debug LEDs, which are exclusively found on the MSI H410M Pro and H410M A Pro, as previously stated. Asus failed to wow us this time, since the H410 chipset boards lack any distinctive or useful features. Asus offers a variety of H410 chipset boards, including the H410M A, D, E, and K, however there are small variations between them that may be confusing to buyers. With the exception of the I/O, they are all identical. The H410M-K should be avoided at all costs since it lacks an M.2 slot for NVME SSDs.
The other three: A, D, and E all have the M.2 slot, but their I/O is different. The D appears better since it has six USB ports, while the A and E only have four. They do, however, have two PS/2 ports, which I don’t believe will be a big deal since D also has one PS/2 port, which is more than plenty. I suggest the H410M S2H out of these four motherboards since it has the greatest I/O of all the motherboards mentioned here, as well as the whole H410 chipset board range from all manufacturers.
