This is the run of the solo wizard character (Gale) in BG3 – Baldur’s Gate. I’m currently working my way through the game, having started it/finished it with a main character character (Jandelaine), and completing many of the early leveling quests with the mage character (Gale).

The Baldur’s Gate series of games is one of my all-time favourites. It began in 1998 with Baldur’s Gate, and continued with its sequel, Tales of the Sword Coast. Of course, both games had their flaws, but I still found them to be brilliant RPGs, and a great way to kill time. With the recent release of the Enhanced Edition of Baldur’s Gate: EE, I decided that it was high time that I joined the ranks of gamers who have completed BGEE, even though the game is incomplete. This means that I will be writing about my experience with the game, as well as my thoughts on what I have played so far.

Baldur’s Gate 3 comes out in a few months. If you haven’t played BG2 and you have a rig to run it on, you can pick up the latest patch, and run it on Steam. The problem is that there are already a lot of bugs in the game. I don’t remember what the exact number is, but my character has died a lot since I started. I also lost my save file.

Another page dedicated to the character of Gale has been added to my website. This time we focus on the role of Gale, with the class Wizard, as we try to get through the early access phase (BG3) of Baldur’s Gate III.

In this guide, we are playing ONLY with Gale, which means that no other characters were used and this is a one-character game.

We used the Wizard class because Gale is technically a wizard, and we tried to play as many Early Access games as possible. This means we have to fight difficult opponents like Mintara, Aunt Ethel, Fasespin and many others on our own.

In the beginning of the race, we were mostly collecting the best gear that could help us run, things like the Sapphire Spark and the Warped Bandage of Intelligence. Both proved useful during the race.

Note: you must use a mod to use the character Gail in the game, as the character is currently unplayable without a mod.

So I used the Origin character mod made by AlanaSP / Nexus. No other mod was used. Why I decided to use Gale for this launch…. He’s one of my favorite characters in the game, so why not?

I’ve also done a solo run of Astarion and I’ve also used him, as in this case, because I love his character. You can see the mileage (as with the Rogue) here

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a revival of the World of Baldur’s Gate, a fantasy RPG series that has been around for almost a decade. The first game in the series, Baldur’s Gate was released in 1999 by developer BioWare, and it has spawned two sequels, some spin-offs, and even a remake. Due to the longevity of the series, people have been eagerly awaiting the third entry, and when BG3 was finally announced earlier this year, it was met with a solid amount of anticipation, with many wondering if the wait would be worth it.. Read more about when will baldur’s gate 3 be out of early access and let us know what you think.
