The Pinky is one of my favourite characters in Borderlands 2. He’s my favourite because he is so damn useful and I just love his personality. So, I thought I’d prove that to you by doing a bit of guide writing on him. So, along with some other fun information, you’re going to find out what stats you should be looking at, what skills you should be running and how you should be playing him.
The second part of our guide covers the best minions you can get from the bandits in the game, and how to use them for great effect in combat, whether it be against enemies or in boss fights, which is always a great way to have fun and earn a lot of money.
The second part of my Borderlands 2 guide is dedicated to what I believe is the best minion ever made. His name is Bully, and I’m going to tell you exactly why he’s such a great part of your Borderlands 2 party.
Now that Boom and Bewm are gone, it’s time to confront Captain Flynt. You’ll need to locate Claptrap, who’s waiting near the north exit gate, to continue your journey to his fortress. He says that the door is closed and that the only way to get in is to blast it through with Boom’s Big Bertha. Jump inside the cannon and fire the door open. Claptrap will caution you not to shoot until he gets out of the path, but the little bugger is too slow to explain, so go ahead and fire.
Don’t get too comfortable on the Big Bertha just yet. Several bandits will rush over the gate, destroying the big groupings with the Big Bertha’s explosive shots. Collect the treasure and go through the gate after they’re all dead. Claptrap is already in Captain Flynt’s fortress if you’re looking for him. He got all the way there by blasting the gate open.
An ice field leads to Captain Flynt’s Soaring Dragon hideaway on the opposite side of the gate. Make your way over the ice field to the north. On the ice, several robbers are being harried by some rakks. Getting involved may get you some gear, particularly if you’re running short on ammunition after the battle with Boom Bewm.
Continue to the front gate of the hideaway with ammunition in hand. Three psychos will attack you as soon as the door opens. Place them on the ground and go through the gate. Prepare to take out additional bandits as you ascend the hill. A large number of them will emerge from the two shacks on each side of you. To take out a couple of them, throw a grenade into the elemental barrel in the route. Avoid receiving too much damage from your attackers by hiding behind the tin metal barriers. To kill the remainder of them, pop in and out of cover.

Once the coast is clear, make your way up the trail. You’ll reach an archway with the words ‘Pis Off’ written above it. Take the left route off the road to an overlook before continuing on. It houses a great gun chest as well as a few shady characters. Assassinate them and get your prize. You should also take advantage of the many receptacles containing cash.
Return to the archway and pass through it. When you go inside the circle of homes, more bandits will emerge. To take down this squad, use your skills and finest weaponry. There are a few containers here as well, so go through them all before continuing.
As you pass through a tiny ice tunnel, follow the bent metal north-northeast. The road bends and goes to a balcony with a tiny cottage overlooking the sea. Several bandits are stationed around the structure. Near the stairwell is an elemental barrel that will both kill and soften some of them. The fearsome marauder lurking nearby will be your first worry. To ensure he dies fast, throw all you have at him.
Another bandit camp may be found by following the stairs around the curve. The route passes under a bridge, which is filled with robbers. There’s some metal debris to your left, with a bar and metal ramp propped up on a ledge leading to the tiny bridge. Climb the slope to the ledge, where you’ll have a better shot at your foes. Clear the bridge using your abilities, then go to the tiny bandit camp on the opposite side of the bridge. Kill the robbers here as well, utilizing the elemental barrels to do some damage while hiding behind the crates and metal fences.
Claptrap’s voice may be heard coming around the curve at the end of the bandit camp when the area is clean. The tiny robot is being beaten up by a gang of robbers. With a few bullets, clear them out, and the robot will crawl to his…wheel and lead the rest of the way through the camp.

More bandits open fire on you once you pass over the archway. Once again, seek shelter in the surroundings and clear the area with your finest weaponry. Climb the land-made ramp to the elevated structures. Claptrap will lead you past the elevated buildings to the stairwell. He sees a nearby elevator after realizing his wheel won’t assist him up the steps.
It is now your responsibility to initiate the lift. Ascend the stairs Claptrap was unable to ascend and turn left on the walkway. The following set of instructions will lead to a dead end. As you reach the next flight of stairs, three bandits will emerge. Wipe them away and go on.
You’ll come across a labyrinth of intertwining pathways and bandit houses when you reach the top of the next flight of stairs. Naturally, additional bandits arrive to try to stop you. Clear them out with your skills and finest weapons. When dealing with the ones in front of you, try taking down the ones at higher altitudes since their bullets will become a nuisance.
Work your way over the pathways to the storage container strewn area. Several more bandits are lurking in the shadows, ready to strike. Sweep these thugs out with a close-quarters weapon. Look through several of the room’s containers for cash and ammunition.
When you return to the boardwalk and follow the goal sign, the lever to raise is immediately around the curve. Claptrap will join you at the top if you pull it. If you stick with him, he’ll eventually take you to Flynt. And that’s an agony in and of itself. In Part 3, we’ll go head-to-head with him.
