Soul caliber is one of the first, most important things you learn in Dark Souls 2. It’s also one of the most important things you learn in life.
Dark Souls 2 is an amazing game, and for those who like to customize their characters, it offers a ton of options. At the very least, the game’s multiplayer has a wide variety of armor options for everyone, but there are also plenty of weapons to choose from. If you want to get really adventurous, you can make your own weapon. A few months ago, I asked our community on the Dark Souls board to make their own weapons and send in pictures of how they turned out. It’s an interesting look into the choices that Dark Souls players make.
Dark Souls 2 is the sequel to one of the greatest role playing games of all time, Dark Souls, so it should come as no surprise that it would be one of the most popular games of 2014. For some, it has truly surpassed the first game in the series, and there are tons of gifts for Dark Souls 2.
Here’s a list of all the presents available in Dark Souls 2 along with an explanation of what they do.
When you make a new character, you may select one of the following gifts from the character creation menu:
- When donned, the life ring will provide you a 5% boost in your HP. HP is increased by 7.5 percent in the variation version and 12.5 percent in the +2 version.
- Human Effigy – This may be used to reclaim your humanity completely. Also, if your health pool has been damaged by death, it may be utilized to completely restore it. Save them for when your HP pool is down to half.
- Healing Wares – This gift contains 10 Lifegems, 3 Radiant Gems, 1 Old Radiant Lifegem, and 5 poison moss, among other helpful healing things.
- The homeward bone will transport you back to the last campfire where you slept. When you need to heal but don’t want to lose your souls, teleporting back to the campfire is a great option.
- Seed of a Giant Tree – This is an item that may be utilized in online games. When you use this item while being invaded by another player, monsters on the current level will target both the invader and you. It’s worth noting that it can’t be summoned by a Rat King member.
- When you use a bonfire ascetic, the whole bonfire area will be changed to the following gameplay level. If you use it on your initial playing, the difficulty will be increased to New Game+, and if you use it on New Game+, it will be increased to New Game++, and so on. This process cannot be reversed, and it will continue on subsequent playthroughs. Essentially, it raises the game’s difficulty; pick this gift if you believe Dark Souls 2 to be too easy. (Haha, you know what I mean.)
- Petrified Something – This item may be utilized to get a random item in the crow’s nest at the start of the game. When you arrive to the nest and Dyna and Tillo’s high pitched voices beg for “something sparkly,” use this item to get a random helpful item in return.
