As we approach the release of the highly anticipated remake of FFVII, there are just so many things left to discover in the game’s rich history. One of the most interesting aspects of this game is the sheer amount of secrets hidden away, even after it has been out of the market for over a decade. To celebrate the release of the game, we have put together a list of some of the more interesting and obscure secrets that can be found in the game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is now less than a year away from release, and we’re starting to see more and more secrets about the game emerge. A few months back, we saw a compilation of the game’s various Easter Eggs, but now we’ve got a new one to add to the pile.
Final Fantasy’s main characters, Cloud and Sephiroth, didn’t appear in the newest game in the series, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and fans are understandably upset. A number of people have claimed that the game is filled with references to characters and places from previous games in the series, but that doesn’t mean the original secret citizens of Midgar have been forgotten.
Many games include Easter Eggs and hidden secrets; some are small, such as odd out-of-the-way posters, while others contain more esoteric secrets and Easter Eggs, such as hidden outfits and such; for example, Metal Gear Solid 4 has a few pretty unusual Easter Egg secrets.
However, we’re talking about Final Fantasy VII, particularly the Final Fantasy VII Remake. So, what hidden Easter Egg mysteries does this little treasure hold? Given that we can only get our hands on the playable demo right now, there are a handful, but we can certainly anticipate a slew of more when the full game launches early next month.
So, how about we have a look at them?
VICTORY FANFARE NO. 1
The hard-hitting Barret Wallace sings the famous Final Fantasy victory fanfare in this pretty lovely Easter Egg. The Victory Fanfare has been a mainstay of the Final Fantasy series for years, even going back to the original Final Fantasy game, and to be honest, it has altered somewhat with each game, often just being remixes with more instruments and such.
This one we personally found out about ourselves, it was also rather humorous in a way with how we first discovered it too. What we mean is that during our second run of the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo we decided to run solo and only use Barret whilst our spiky chocobo headed Cloud lay dead on the floor somewhere. It was just after defeating the final wave of enemies that Barret then decided to sing this iconic theme and to be honest it fitted perfectly too, it was his victory defeating all of the monsters including the Scorpion Sentinel all on his own after all. Want to see Barret Wallace, our hero, king, and saviour, take on the full Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo on his own? Then, in the conclusion, sing that famous theme to complete the experience?

WHITE POSTER #2 BANORA
The Banora White Apple, sometimes known as Dumbapple, is a fruit that can be found in the hamlet of Banora, which is a locale in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.
However, during the Mako Reactor Chapter 1 section of Final Fantasy VII Remake, there is a poster related to the same subject that can be seen at the Station.

#3 Finally Alone
This is one of the discoveries that you may uncover; often, these discoveries require you to either accomplish a job or unlock specific locations.
This one required you to accomplish all of the Chapter 3 – Home Sweet Slum side quests, which totaled six in total.
After you’ve completed those tasks (all of which are story-related), you’ll be directed to see Merle, after which Cloud and Tifa will have some quiet time to discuss various topics, including fashion.
All of the major characters, it turns out, have secret sequences, which you can see here.
CHAPTER 1 – 10 : EASTER EGGS & DIFFERENT DIALOGUE CHOICES
Here’s a video that explains the many conversation options and how they affect the result. In addition, I’ve compiled a list of other Easter Eggs that I’ve discovered. (Note: This may not be the case for all of them.)

Final Fantasy VII is one of my favorite games of all time, so when I heard that Square Enix were working on a remake of the classic, I was ecstatic. Today, that dream is closer to becoming a reality. A few months ago, 360 users were welcomed to a beta version of the game, and since then, a lot of the game has been revealed. However, there is still a lot that remains hidden. Here is a list of everything I’ve discovered so far.. Read more about final fantasy easter eggs and let us know what you think.
