Vasco’s mother (Dina) isn’t a very good cook, and from time to time she uses her knowledge to prepare food for her son. On this occasion she prepared a stew, enriched with some special ingredient (beef). Vasco loved this meal, and it was the first time he actually ate his mother’s cooking. After having his fill, he was about to be rewarded by a hug and a kiss, but before that could happen, the house started to shake. It was only a small tremor, but Vasco noticed the kitchen was stuck to the floor, like it was glued. Without thinking, he pushed his mother on the ground, and they both fell to the ground. Luckily, the kitchen was magnetic, so
After spending years in the darkness of the catacombs, you emerged into the light of the brave new world. You and the other surviving members of your family take stock of your new surroundings and find out what’s happened since you crawled out of the dark. In a grim coincidence, it’s the same day a new batch of survivors was dropped off to the east, apparently unaware there was an already existing colony.
Welcome to the Greedfall family. My name is Vasco and I’m sure you have heard more of us than your own family. I’ve been taught that one’s family are the most important people in his life. I’ve been taught that the human family are the most important people in our lives. And I have been taught that Greedfall is the most important thing in our lives.
When you talk with Vasco, he will tell you about his childhood and how his family sold him to the Nauts; this is identical to the Cabin Boy, which is why I mentioned you may need to finish that before you can trigger this.
Thankfully, both side and major narrative missions are well-marked, and you should be able to follow the task quite quickly; just go to your quest diary and mark the quest as completed.
Anyway, your next objective is to go to the Port location, which will be indicated if you followed the instructions above.
Each companion character in Greedfall has its own distinct side mission, although they aren’t always obvious and need you to speak to them in order to start it.
This quest began when I initially arrived in New Serena and talked with Vasco at random. It may happen outside of New Serena, but I’m not sure, so don’t hold me to it!
It was a simple task that didn’t need any travel outside of New Serena. Anyway, here’s a short tutorial on how to finish it.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you may need to save the Cabin Boy when you’re in Serena (the beginning location), since Vasco mentions him briefly in this quest and I did finish that job before starting this one.

Vasco will inform you that several ladies would be arriving here after dark and that he does not want any bloodshed, therefore you will be charged with preparing Sleeping Pills in the hopes of preventing things from becoming violent.
It’s simple to get the Sleeping Pills; just go to a local Merchant and ask him to sell you some for 16 coins.
You’ll now be charged with heading to the Coin Tavern (Bar), where you’ll find the guy you’re looking for at the foot of the stairs (if you have not been here before you will need to pay 25 coins to gain access)
You’ll need to talk with the Guard in order to persuade him to put the Sleeping Pills in his drink. You may either utilize your conversational skills or attempt other ways to persuade him. Once he agrees, you may go back to the spot where you initially realized you needed the Sleeping Pills and wait until dark.
Now, in order to blend in more easily and improve your chances of avoiding violence, you may need the Nauts clothing. You can obtain the outfit by watching the video below or going here for a step-by-step tutorial (How to get the Nauts outfit)
Now you either have the outfit or don’t, depending on how you approach the following part. In any case, you’ll want to make your way to the rear of the space (it will be marked on the map). You will discover a closed door here; use your abilities to unlock it, or if that is inadequate, look for the key nearby. Head right from the door and to the box by the fence; the game will have a “Pick Up” sign; this is the key for the door.
Anyway, you should now be allowed to enter the building; you want to go upstairs, so make your way up the stairs. The file you’re looking for is in a chest in the far corner of the room.
After obtaining the right file, return to Vasco to complete the mission and earn the admiration of the game’s greatest character!
