August 2020 is right around the corner, and this month we’re looking forward to seeing what Sony has in store for PlayStation gamers… Sony has a few big reveals planned for PlayStation’s 2020 Player’s Choice event, one of which is a new PlayStation console that has yet to be announced… the first detailed look at the platform comes from the Japanese press, where it’s been revealed that the console will be smaller than the PlayStation 4 and will be capable of allowing for the transfer of larger files… While the release date for the console has not been announced, it’s said to be out in 2020.
The PlayStation State of Play is the very first in-depth rundown of the month of August in the PlayStation ecosystem. It’s an overview of the titles releasing this month in the U.S. and Europe and what they each have to offer.
We have a few things coming up. A few new titles were confirmed at the event, such as Mega Man 11 and Sausage Sports Club. Looking at the games that have been announced and are on the way, we are getting some great games to look forward to. Among them are the next Elder Scrolls title, which might be a follow-up to the upcoming Skyrim Remastered.
With the PS5 set to launch around the 2020 Christmas season, it’s no wonder that a lot of gaming news has moved to the newest games for the shiny new system. That isn’t to imply that the present generation will be forgotten. PlayStation conducted a State of Play Livestream earlier today, concentrating on future games for the PS4 and PS VR, as well as a few brief updates on third-party and independent projects revealed during the PS5 presentation back in June.
