While we’re well into the second week of Toil and Trouble, we’ve got a few more cards to reveal. Today, I’ll show off the eponymous ‘Toil and Trouble’ character, and take a look at both his trick and his companion.
The past year has been an interesting one for Hearthstone fans. The game’s release on PC was the first step towards mass adoption, and it has continued to grow throughout the year. In fact, the game has even gained a sizable hold on the console market, becoming the #1 grossing game on Xbox Live Arcade.
This week on Toil and Trouble, we were lucky enough to go to the Hearthstone World Championships, an event that determines which of the game’s sub-million-strong playerbase gets to play for the World title against the best players in the world. For those who have been living under a rock, the World Championship is a competition where players from around the world play in groups, progressing through nine cups of play to guarantee a spot in the single-elimination playoff bracket. Here, the best of the best compete for the game’s biggest prize and the honor of being crowned the best player in the game.
Toil and Trouble, Part 2 of the Borderlands Quest Guide
Boombringer, Mortar’s buzzard, must be killed in order for him to get enraged enough to bring the elevator down. In order to locate the hangar, Brick directs you to Cramfist’s Foundry. To get to the hangar, you must first pass through the bandit-infested Main Street Reservoir. The reservoir is located to the south of Smoking Guano Grotto. You will be attacked by bandits right away. Once the area has been cleaned, cross the river, but be cautious as many threshers patrol the area. Once you’ve made it over, you’ll have to fight your way upward against hordes of bandits. To inflict additional damage to the big groups of bandits, use the elemental barrels.
You’ll arrive to Cramfist’s Foundry after you’ve reached the top of the hill. The hangar will be to your left, indicated on your map by the goal point. There are more bandits in the area, but you’ll have to deal with two strong turrets that protect the hangar. After you’ve taken out the bandits, turn your attention to the turrets. Make short work of them with a rocket launcher. If you don’t have a rocket launcher, try destroying them with caustic or grenades.

To get to the hangar, climb the stairs. Mortar’s personal buzzard may be seen in the hangar’s northern section. To activate the switch and lift Boombringer from the hangar, defeat the bandits, buzzards, and turrets. To seem badass, Brick recommends walking away from the explosion and not looking at it. Mortar is so terrified that he meets you at the bottom of the elevator when you arrive to Smoking Guano Grotto. Return to the elevator and prepare to climb the Inferno Tower, regardless of how you handle it.
You may take a shortcut from the hangar steps by following a conveyor belt south of the stairs. To get to the elevator, you’ll have to battle a few bandits and Mortar. Mortar’s shields are poor, but his life bar is large, thus he can take a pounding. Use incendiary weapons to inflict more damage and swiftly take him out. To go to the Buzzards Nest, use the elevator button. Brick will bring his explosives slabs in, but he’ll need you to deal with the Sawteeth’s air support. Before you go up against the five buzzards, take out the bandit on the ground. Make advantage of cover and a decent caustic weapon to deal with each one.

Set beacons on each container of explosives once the buzzards have been dealt with so his Slabs know what to pick up. You may return to Eridium Blight once his soldiers have picked up the bombs. Make use of the Catch-A-Break system. Return to Arid Nexus by riding to the right of the Sawtooth Cauldron entrance. Brick’s Slabs will blast open the entrance to Arid Nexus as you approach. To finish Toil and Trouble, go through and turn in the assignment at a tiny module at the door you came through. It’s time to go to the Hyperion Info Stockade and find out where the Warrior is.
REWARD:
4 eridium is the amount of money.
