“GTA 5 Flight School Guide” has been posted to http://hearthstats.com/tag/gta-5-flight-school/
For those who are not yet acquainted with GTA 5, it is one of the most entertaining, and addictive, open world action games ever made. The game’s main feature is its incredible freedom of movement, which plays an important role in turning the game into one of the most popular multiplayer games on the market. Players have the ability to fly a plane, which is the second most common vehicle in the game, behind the cars, and the one that, in retrospect, makes the player feel the most powerful. If you want in on the fun, you’ll need to learn how to fly, and getting some practice in before flying for the first time is a must.
As you can see, I’ve created my own GTA 5 Flight School tutorial. I hope you enjoy this video guide. If you want more information about this game, please visit: http://hearthstats.blogspot.com/. Read more about gta v flight school mission and let us know what you think.
Completing the Flight School tasks in GTA 5 will improve your flying skills and help you become a better pilot. (each character separately)
Notes and suggestions for flight school
- Flight school is the quickest method to enhance your flying skills, which improves aircraft control, simplifies landings, and reduces turbulence impacts.
- Flight school prepares you for missions that call for some of the abilities you’ll acquire (like the knife flight challenges for example)
- Your completion time determines whether you get a Bronze, Silver, or Gold for each lesson.
- There are a total of 13 lessons mentioned below, all of which are locked on your first visit to Flight School (save the first).
- The next lesson will be unlocked when you get a bronze.
All 13 lessons are shown here, along with some suggestions on how to pass them and earn gold.
The First Lesson: Training Takes Off
00:32 – 00:50 – 01:00 – 00:32 – 00:50 – 00:50 – 00:50 – 00:50 – 00
This is the first flying lesson, and it covers the basics of takeoff and landing. You’ll receive a preview of what you’re meant to accomplish first, followed by a three-second timer, following which you’ll be in charge of your aircraft. On the bottom right of the screen, you’ll see your Gold target time.
Hold RT (Xbox 360) or R2 (PS3) to accelerate and modify your pitch using the left control stick. (to ascend or descend)
Once the airplane has gained some speed, it will softly rise off the runway, gradually tilt the pitch, and aim for the yellow ring hovering above the runway’s end. To minimize drag on your aircraft, remember to lift your landing gear (by pressing the left stick) immediately after takeoff. To complete the game, fly to the second checkpoint. Make tiny changes to remain on a straight route to the second checkpoint if there is any slight turbulence that will tug your aircraft in various directions. If you remain on a straight route to the end, you should get a Gold medal.
Lesson 2: Landing on the Runway
Gold is at 00:35, Silver is at 00:55, and Bronze is at 01:10.
This tutorial will show you how to land safely on the runway. Begin by gradually decreasing the plane’s height by tilting downward. Slow down as much as possible without stalling by deploying your landing gear (your engines will turn off if you decelerate too much). Also, attempt to land as near to the yellow checkpoint marker at the runway’s end as feasible. You should practice this if it involves speeding up a little and then slowing down to land at the last minute. Once you’ve landed, rapidly taxi to the left to the last marker and slam on the brakes to bring the aircraft to a halt. The key to obtaining gold in this game is to land as close to the yellow marker as possible.
Inverted Flight (Lesson 3)
Gold is at 01:40, Silver is at 02:00, and Bronze is at 02:20.
You will learn how to perform barrel rolls and fly upside down in this session. The opening movie will give you a fair idea of what to expect. Begin by climbing to the first marker and gaining some height. Jackson will instruct you to do a barrel roll, after which he will instruct you to perform three in a succession. If you don’t gain some additional altitude before doing this, you may end up crashing. To save time, make sure you level out quickly following your rolls. Finally, you’ll be told to fly backwards. Roll your aircraft upside down and keep it there as soon as Jackson instructs you to. You may check your radar to determine how level you are. Then, to finish the lesson, roll your aircraft right side up.
Knife Flight (lesson 4)
Gold is at 00:54, Silver is at 01:15, and Bronze is at 01:40.
This lesson will show you how to use your rudder to fly sideways while maintaining height. Turning your aircraft sideways and then holding the rudder (L1, R1, or LB, RB) to maintain your height and fill the meter is a basic and straightforward move. You’ll be instructed to hold your aircraft sideways for five seconds on one side and then the other. To save time and earn the gold, attempt to level out quickly after holding your aircraft sideways.
Flat Hatting (lesson 5)
Gold is at 01:40, Silver is at 02:00, and Bronze is at 02:20. You will be expected to fly a checkpoint route around the port while keeping a low altitude in this session. There are a total of 21 checkpoints, and you begin on the runway. While flying low is necessary, you should not fly any lower than the height of the floating checkpoint marks. During this session, use your rudder to assist you with steering. It’s worth noting that the checkpoints have a wide hitbox, so you don’t have to fly right through them to earn credit. To save time and improve your chances of obtaining gold, fly slightly to the left or right of them (depending on where the next checkpoint is).
Touchdown (lesson 6) 10 feet for gold, 45 feet for silver, and 10 feet for bronze. This lesson is unique in that you must land the aircraft on a bridge. You begin in the air, facing the bridge, where an emergency landing is required. Your objective is to land as near to the last checkpoint at the bridge’s terminus as possible. Prepare to land after passing through the first checkpoint. Slow down a little and attempt to land as gently as possible before breaking. It’s preferable to get closer to the last checkpoint. Also, keep an eye out for traffic. It may take a few attempts to earn gold on this one.
Loop the Loop (lesson 7) Gold is at 01:40, Silver is at 02:00, and Bronze is at 02:20. You will learn how to do an inner loop in this session. Watch the intro to get a sneak peek at the move. Keep your control stick as straight as possible to avoid spiraling. To go to the first marker, take off and get some height. Get as much height as possible for the following maneuver once you’ve completed two loops. You will be requested to do a top roll at this point. This seems to be a little difficult at first, but really isn’t. Begin by completing half a loop, then roll your aircraft over and level off when you reach the halfway point. Getting gold on this one should be simple if done properly.
Helicopter Course (lesson 8) Gold is at 02:40, Silver is at 03:15, and Bronze is at 03:45. It’s time to start learning how to fly a helicopter! This course will familiarize you with helicopter controls by flying you through a series of checkpoints around the city. The helicopters in this game are a little more difficult to handle than those in earlier games, and they are more susceptible to turbulence than aircraft, so it takes a little getting used to. Holding both rudder keys together is an excellent way to steady your aircraft and prevent it from wobbling. You may also perform very sharp maneuvers by combining the rudder with the left control stick. There will be a checkpoint towards the finish that is easy to miss, so take your time and make sure you don’t miss it. This session concludes with a landing on a helipad.
Helicopter Speed Run (lesson 9) Gold is at 02:10, Silver is at 03:00, and Bronze is at 03:30. Another helicopter lesson, however this time you must fly as quickly as possible across the city. Keep your helicopter level to avoid the bridge and bridge supports on this course, and keep the left stick slanted forward to retain as much speed as possible. A few checkpoints are located right above or in the center of bridges, so be cautious. Try not to lean your helicopter forward too far while passing over the bridge support beams, since the rear of the blades may clip the support beams! Also, for very sharp turns, utilize your rudders in conjunction with your left stick. To complete, drop down onto the helipad above the building towards the end.
Skydiving is the tenth lesson. Gold is at 3:10 p.m., Silver is at 10:00 p.m., and Bronze is at 20:00 p.m. You will learn how to skydive and land on a fixed target in this session. Begin by jumping out of the aircraft by pressing X (Xbox 360) or Square (Xbox One) (PS3). You may use the left control stick to guide your body while free falling. To deploy your parachute, press A (Xbox 360) or X (PS3) and aim for the center of the landing objective. This class has no time restriction, so take your time. If you don’t see the landing target right away, it should be on your radar. Hold back on the control stick to slow down your descent, then turn quickly using the RB, LB, (360) R1, L1 (PS3) buttons. When you’re close to the landing target, aim for the center and press the LB and RB (Xbox 360) or L1 and R1 (PS3) buttons to activate precision landing mode. This option slows you down and allows you to easily direct yourself to the goal. If you accidentally overshoot, just circle around until you can strike the center dead on in precision mode.
Drop Zone (lesson 11) Gold is at 00:00, Silver is at 07:00, and Bronze is at 20:00. You will skydive and attempt to land on a moving target in this lesson. Deploy your chute whenever you’re close to the ground and match the truck’s pace. Enter precision mode once you’re near to the target and direct yourself to the center of the target landing zone for the gold. Line up behind the truck and don’t switch to precision mode until you’re near to the target’s center.
Lesson 12: Work Hard for Your Wings Gold is at 02:50, Silver is at 03:15, and Bronze is at 03:40. The last flying lesson has arrived. In this lesson, you’ll fly around a city course while executing tricks you’ve mastered in earlier classes. Before tackling this one, I would suggest going for gold in some of those classes to prepare. (If you haven’t done so before.) The green checkpoints are knife checkpoints that demand you to fly sideways, while the blue checkpoints are inverted checkpoints that force you to fly upside down. In this lesson, the rudder should be your closest buddy. It won’t be simple to get gold on this one. You’ve completed flying school, which is a huge accomplishment!
