Monster Hunter: World by Capcom has been a huge hit. The game has developed a devoted following of skilled players, providing dozens of hours of great material to each and every one of them. However, some of the game’s most difficult creatures have proved to be a struggle for a number of gamers. On that aim, we’ve created a guide to defeating Monster Hunter: World’s top five most difficult creatures.
Nergigante, No. 1
Capcom is responsible for the image.
Nergigante is a formidable monster that many gamers have trouble dealing with. As a result, this monstrous beast has risen to the top of our list.
You’ll need to do a few things to be ready for Nergigante. To begin, make sure you’re using a thunder-based weapon. Thunder damage is Nergigante’s worst flaw. Next, use the vitality mantle to enhance your endurance. Finally, get some paralysis knives.
Nergigante’s spikes are one of the first things you should look out for throughout the boss battle. The spikes will cover the elder dragon’s whole body and come in a variety of hues. You may be hurt by the spikes, but they can be broken off. White spikes are the most vulnerable and may be broken. Black spikes, on the other hand, are harder and will repel your strikes.
The white spikes will harden into black spikes if you wait too long to break them off. Similarly, spikes that have been broken off will regrow throughout the battle. As a result, you’ll have to keep an eye on these annoyances at all times.
You’ll have to be on the lookout for Nergigante’s dive bomb strike, which is his most lethal attack. By soaring into the air, the older dragon will signal the assault. This attack should not be attempted to be blocked. At all costs, avoid the assault. Otherwise, it’s possible that your character will be one-shot.
Even if you manage to avoid the first strike, keep an eye out for the aftershock AoE attack that occurs after the elder dragon returns to the ground. Nergigante will be at his most vulnerable after the dive bomb assault and the subsequent aftershock attack. Take advantage of this opportunity to roll in and do some severe damage.
The tail of the older dragon should be your primary priority. Nergigante’s tail may really be severed, leaving the older dragon severely injured. Take your time and use the paralysis knives to make the battle a bit easier. This battle might be over with one incorrect move.
When Nergigante’s health begins to deteriorate, he will retire to his lair. Take advantage of this opportunity to rest before chasing the older dragon. Thunder is a three-star vulnerability for Nergigante, while dragon is a two-star weakness. Finally, poison, bast, stun, sleep, and paralysis effects have a two-star weakness against the elder dragon.
Teostra is number two.
Capcom is responsible for the image.
Teostra is no laughing matter. This older dragon is thin, nasty, and bloodthirsty. As a result, this powerful beast has won the number two position on your list.
To prepare for Teostra, you’ll need some high-quality armor and a large supply of refreshing beverages. Water and ice are weak points for this ancient dragon, and he’s also vulnerable to shock and poison.
When Teostra is engulfed in flames, one of the first things you should watch out for is that. This is the time when the beast is at its most powerful. Teostra also has several powerful strikes while she is flying. As a result, if Teostra wraps himself in fire or chooses to take flight, it’s better to just maintain your distance and wait.
Teostra will use a flaming explosion as her most powerful strike. An aura of flames will be created by the older dragon to signal the move. Be aware that this strike has the potential to one-shot your character.
When you get a chance to fight, it is recommended that you attack from the elder dragon’s side. Teostra possesses a powerful fire breath attack that will strike you if you stand in front of him. If you strike from behind, you’ll get a nasty tail swipe as well.
Also, remember to drink enough of cold beverages to avoid the harmful effects of the environment.
Bazelgeuse, number three
Capcom is responsible for the image.
The Bazelgeuse isn’t the most powerful creature in the Monster Hunter universe. Having saying that, almost every player has a tale about an unpleasant encounter with a Bazelgeuse. With that in mind, we’ve placed this beast in third place on our list.
There are a few things you’ll need to battle a Bazelgeuse in terms of preparation. You’ll need dung pods first and foremost. Aside from that, make sure you have a thunder weapon and enough of slinger ammo on hand. You can also employ sleep, poison, and paralysis effects on a Bazelgeuse with moderate effectiveness.
When battling this beast, the first thing you’ll want to keep an eye out for are its mine shards. Using your slinger ammo, you may safely trigger these shards from a distance.
Almost every assault this monster makes revolves on the release and detonation of more shards. As a result, it’s critical to limit the amount of mine shards deployed to a minimal. The Bazelgeuse’s slam strikes, which unleash even more explosive shards, should be avoided.
When the Bazelgeuse is in the air, it is at its most lethal. The creature will pelt you with shards on a regular basis, wreaking devastation in its wake. The monster’s head, wings, and tail are the monster’s vulnerable areas should you decide to attack. You may cut the Bazelgeuse’s tail to limit the number of shards it can lay. The monster’s head, on the other hand, is its weakest spot.
If the monster becomes too much at times, try using the Bazelgeuse’s territorial tendencies. Wait until the monster is weakened in the midst of a turf battle with another creature, then put down a dung pod to keep the monster you don’t want to fight at bay. You’ve now been given a less difficult task.
4. Diablos del Sur
While Diablos is difficult enough to make this list, the Black Diablos is much more diabolically frightening. This enormous beast is a tremendous challenge for gamers of all skill levels, earning it the number four position on the list.
You can do a few things to be ready for this monster. Both fire and dragon techniques are ineffective against the Black Diablos. It does, however, have a three-star ice vulnerability and a two-star water weakness. As a result, you’ll want to have ice or water-based weapons on hand. Stun will not work well against this monster, but the paralysis effect is an excellent addition to this battle. Aside from that, make sure you have enough of screamer pods on hand.
The head, thorax, and wings of the Black Diablo are all susceptible. If you’re fighting with a blunt weapon, concentrate your attacks on the monster’s head and body. The beast’s wings should be targeted for ranged weapon damage. The creature’s tail may be severed, and its back and horns can be broken.
The Black Diablos will burrow through the earth and assault you with deadly strikes on a regular basis. Using distant weapons to keep your distance may be a fantastic strategy to counteract its close quarters strength.
The Black Diablos’ burrowing assault is one thing to watch out for from this monster. The monster will emerge from the earth and strike with a horn attack that is tough to avoid. To dodge the attack, take a running dive just before the monster is ready to ascend. Use your screamer pods to compel the Black Diablos to erupt from the earth sooner than expected.
Kushala Daora is number five.
This elder dragon is both distinctive and difficult. Kushala Daora has fought its way into our top five list with a variety of intriguing move sets and powerful strikes.
You’ll need a lot of curatives and flash pods to prepare for this battle. Thunder, poison, and blast impacts are the most dangerous to the elder dragon. In addition, the creature is vulnerable to dragon and stun effects.
Keep your combinations to a minimum since this elder dragon is quick and dangerous. It’s all about going in for a fast attack and then fleeing as quickly as you arrived. Kushala Daora will repeatedly use wind attacks, disrupting your posture and making it difficult to approach the elder dragon for a melee assault.
When Kushala Daora hides in a cyclone, just wait for the dragon to emerge. The elder dragon is at its most deadly when it takes flight. Toss it back to the ground with your flash pods.
