Some of you may have heard of Fire Emblem Awakening, but many of you probably haven’t played it yet. I sure haven’t. Fire Emblem Awakening is Nintendo’s latest strategy RPG and it’s available on the 3DS and the 2DS. The 3DS version is currently available in stores since February 25th, 2013 and the 2DS version is available in stores since March 25th, 2013. I had no idea what it was or what it was about until I bought a 3DS on Black Friday and picked it up.
Fire Emblem Awakening, the latest game in the Fire Emblem Awakening series, was released on February 4, 2013 in North America. Nintendo released the game in Japan on January 26, 2013.
What is the function of supports?
Support points are earned by fighting alongside troops, healing or dancing with them, or fighting with them by doubling up. At specific levels, the dialogues may be activated via the global map. Your Avatar may S-rank with anybody of the opposite gender, even minors, and you can have an infinite number of A supporters. However, you can only have one S support per character. What’s the deal with marriage, dragontits? The two get married when a first generation unit reaches S rank with someone. After Chapter 13, you’ll be able to uncover paralogues that allow you to recruit second-generation troops. Their stats are determined by their parents’ caps, thus a Severa by Gaius will have more speed and a Severa by Vaike will have more strength. At level 10, all second-generation units have their base class’s related skills, as well as one from each parent. The BOTTOM-MOST SKILL that the parent has equipped is the ability. Prior to Lucina, all female characters had a kid with them, regardless of who they marry. Chrom and Avatar both have their own offspring. When they are paired with one of the aforementioned spouses, or with a female Avatar, the two offspring will be siblings. In addition, Chrom will automatically marry one of five people at the conclusion of Chapter 11 depending on who he has the most support points with; if they’re tied, the list is Sumia, Maribelle, Sully, Olivia, Avatar. If he arrived without a single support point, or if all of his wives have been kidnapped or died, he marries the random village girl you saved in the opening chapter. I’m having trouble picking a waifu! Do yourself a favor and skip the eugenics on your first run. Don’t bother about the statistics; just choose the woman who appeals to you. If you can’t make up your mind, marrying Lucina offers you a couple other moments in the narrative that you wouldn’t receive otherwise, so she may be a decent initial choice for the sake of the plot. What strengths and weaknesses should I have? There isn’t an exact ideal spread, and your decision also impacts your children’s stats in addition to your own, so if you already have a waifu in mind, you may want to design your growths around them. If you’re undecided, Resistance/Luck provides the most balanced stat spread in the game, with only HP and speed increasing by more than 50% and nothing decreasing by less than 40%. When should I consider reclassifying? Because you can reset your level, promoting early doesn’t cost you anything, therefore it’s advised that you do so and concentrate on the abilities you want to learn. Because of the way the internal experience system is set up, it’s best to promote, reach the levels you need to acquire what you want, then reclass to tier 1 and promote from there. Exceptions may, however, be made whenever and anywhere you choose. Sorcerers is the class I belong to. Why can’t I access an extra map I received through Spotpass? Spotpass maps like The Dead King’s Lament are only available after you’ve completed the Endgame (after Chapter 25). I began a child’s story, but their numbers and abilities weren’t what I was looking for. Am I doomed? No, just leave the map and rearrange/learn new abilities, as well as grind a little to improve the parent’s numbers. The child’s stats will be changed with the new parental stats and abilities when you rejoin the paralogue. Eugenics Planner (http://www.serenesforest.net/fe13/char growth all.html) is a useful link.
